In a recent email discussion one of the contributors has suggested that Evan Iliadis really believes his posts about other people and this is an aspect of his mental sickness. This is despite the fact that he manufactures the lies himself. I must admit i have trouble reconciling making up lies and then believing them but I guess you would need to be insane to be able to do that. Still i wonder how it works. Does he have some fantasy one day then the next think that the fantasy is real? Does he have dreams bout this stuff wake and think the dream was real? Is it that if you tell a lie long enough then you start to believe it yourself? I guess we will never know.
I am not really convinced he does actually believe all the lies he manufactures. I am inclined to think that he is totally in it for the game. He enjoys the attention and the power he seems to yield against others. This almost always points to a feeling of lack of power in their real life. He might believe aspects of what he says but he must know when he makes stuff up against other people.
Recently Evan said that Matt was “only” working as a security guard in the Middle East. Where did this come from? He is aware that Matt works with authorities assisting them in apprehending people involved in criminal activity. Next he learns that Matt has gone to the Middle East on contract. He has no idea what Matt is doing there but suddenly he announces that Matt is just a security guard. This is a very deliberate attempt to by Evan to imply that Matt role is menial not that I consider the role of security guard to be such.
Evan claims to be on a mission to rid the Philippines of sexpats but when you read his blog what do you see. Evan engaging in character assassination of people over a range of trivial things most totally unrelated to exposing sexpats and bringing criminals to justice. Let’s look closer at his attack on Matt. Has Evan ever accused Matt of being a sexpat? Read through all his attacks on Matt try to work out exactly what issues Evan has with him. They are trivial and just abusive.

undesirable elements than Evan ever has.
In fact Evan is totally counter productive to the efforts
of authorities and not taken seriously by anyone.
The irony is that Matt is actively engaged in doing exactly what Evan claims to do. Matt actually works with the PNP to catch pedophiles and other undesirable elements in the Philippines. Evan says he is doing the same but spends all his time baiting and stalking normal expats. He should be applauding the work Matt does. What Evan does not realise is that by attacking people like Matt Evan has now come to the attention of the Philippine Authorities. It can probably now be said that any allegation that appears on the sites of Evan Iliadis will be viewed this great scepticism by the authorities in the Philippines. His attack on Matt is a perfect example of how fake Evan is.
I am convinced Evan does know what he is doing in so much as he knows he is manufacturing lies to attack people as part of a game he enjoys playing. He might not fully understand the difference between right and wrong but I am skeptical of that also. They say that a psychopath does not know the difference between right and wrong while a sociopath does but chooses to do wrong. Which is Evan? A psychopath or a sociopath. I am inclined to think Evan Iliadis is sociopath.
I currently live in Cebu and have been a follower of Evan Iliadis for the past few months believing his crusade against perverts was real. I started realise that he was a fake when he ignored information I provided about real sex offenders. What this site says about him is true. Evan has satan inside him. Don\’t believe what this evil man says about many of the people on his blogs including Matt Wilkie. I did some research about Matt at the request of Evan. I found out that he is one of the good guys. When I looked further I am not sure if anything Evan publishes is real. I will pray for Evan and hope that he can accept Jesus Christ as his saviour. God Bless You All.
This is an interesting article and I will make a point here “I didn’t prompt it”. I can write a bit about myself and if anyone directly knows me they will be aware of not only how I got involved with the PNP but also why. I hate child abusers of any description, I was given the opportunity to assist the PNP but it was also motivated by trying to improve the image of expats generally in the Philippines. The sex industry has created a bad stigma for expats and trying to show that there are many good people here as well is an uphill struggle. To discover that Evan not only just see’s bad but also prepared to fabricate and lie completely, he’s made things worse and at the same time he has yet to stop a single “bad expat” or sexpat in the Philippines from doing harm to others.
Why target people trying to do good? Is it a case of feeling threatened or insecure? I really don’t know to be honest as Evan Iliadis seems in a world of his own most of the time.
I have been defamed by Iliades and accused of not writing my books (Philippine Dreams, Filipina 101 etc)as well as writing books that promote sex tourism etc. Well which one is it, Iliades? Either I wrote the books or I didn’t and I assure you, none of them promote illegal or immoral activities. I won a retraction and a written apology from one of our leading law schools for incorrect assertion made in a UN report, I am sure I could show your allegations to be totally false, too!
He also took my private emails meant only for those members of a Yahoo group and reproduced them on his blogs, infringing copyright laws as he did with my copyright images from my web sites. Then he takes m emails out of context, twists them and tries to make me look like some racist nutter. Yet he forgets as a writer I often pose contrary views in terms designed to illicit debate and stir up discussion of the issue not to mention being married to a Filipina myself.
Evan Iliades is mentally ill, that is obvious even to a layman. Pity him, for he knows not what he does.
I am not sure if Evan Iliadis would know what the truth is if it bit him up the rear end.
The reality is that Evan Iliadis cannot handle the truth, for this reason he spins his web and fabricates a tissue of lies.
Where does reality and fantasy cross the borderline into insanity? I suppose Evan Iliadis creates a way out for himself, by trying to defend against the growing legal actions with a declaration of insanity evidenced by his behaviours.
I think the game he is trying to play with other people and their lives is about to take a turn that he never expected.
New Zealand is about to join a growing number of nations who are determined to clean up the internet by sweeping away such people. Evan Iliadis and his ilk are about to be swept away in a tsunami of cleansing
The problem is Evan hasn’t a clue what anyone really does as he has never met the people he writes about. In fact if he knew them in person he’s such a coward he wouldn’t engage with them!
